Peace members are active both in our church and in our community. Our annual events include the Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper served by our youth the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, Holden Evening Prayer services held each Wednesday during Lent, with soup supper before each service, Easter breakfast, our ice cream social, held the second Wednesday in July, Vacation Bible school in August, hayrack ride in October, Fall Harvest dinner in November, afternoon Bible study, and evening Bible study with light supper.
There are many ways you can be involved in helping others. Our quilters spend months creating beautiful quilts, which are then delivered to Lutheran World Relief, and are then distributed around the world to provide warmth, shelter, and comfort to those in need.
We purchase supplies and assemble back to school kits, do roadside cleanup, and other community services.
We support our local food pantry, battered women's shelter, ELCA World Hunger, Lutheran Disaster Response, and Lutheran World Relief.
If you have questions on how you can join us in any of these missions, please contact a member of Peace and we will be happy to share information.
